A 26 acre recreational family area by the River Avon

The Big Meadow in Bidford-upon-Avon  is the ideal outdoor space for family gatherings and family days out during the spring and summer months and is only a short drive away from the world famous Stratford-upon-Avon.

During autumn and winter the Big Meadow takes on a different personality and is a great place for walkers to explore the beautiful countryside of Shakespeare’s England and admire the changing seasons.

The Big Meadow overlooks the River Avon and is a fantastic outdoor space to enjoy all that the countryside has to offer. With a huge play area including a skate ramp and table tennis tables, kids can enjoy all the facilities while adults can relax with a picnic and take in the riverside views.

The Bridge restaurant and The Frog pub both overlook the river and have great views of The Big Meadow and at only a two minute walk away they are ideal to soak up the atmosphere on a summer’s day.
