The Heritage Motor Centre, near Warwick houses informative and interactive exhibitions charting the history of British motoring from the 1890s to present day.

Uncover the story of the British motor industry with fun and interactive exhibitions. Great for all the family with children's quizzes and special school holiday activities plus a selection of outdoor activities including children's play area and picnic site. Free guided tours twice a day, onsite café and gift shop.

Walk the 'Time Road' and discover how motoring and family life has changed through the decades with period music and memorable events including the introduction of double yellow lines.

Travel through 'Making British Cars' and see how influential the motor industry has been over the years and where it is heading in the future.

Car Parking 

Upon arrival follow the blue and white signs for Disabled Museum Parking which will take you to the designated parking area.

Car parking on special event days

On event days disabled parking is moved to ensure it is nearest to the show entrance, which is usually at the top of site. Should you require any assistance on event days please inform a car parker when you arrive on site and they can arrange for a shuttle down to the museum.

Drop off point

There is a drop off point just outside the museum entrance located on the left hand side of the road.


Wheelchairs are available for hire from the museum pay desk. Visitors can either request a chair upon arrival or pre-book a chair by calling 01926 641188 or emailing enquiries@heritage-motor-centre.co.uk

Access around the building

The museum has lift access to all floors and level floors within the museum, cafe and facilities.


Dogs are allowed on to site but they must be controlled on a lead and all mess picked up and disposed of. They should not be left in hot or unventilated cars. Guide or Assistance Dogs are allowed into the museum building.

Baby Changing

There are baby changing facilities on the ground floor of the museum.

Located 5 minutes off junction 12, M40, Warwickshire, discounted entry for pre booked groups of 12 or more, £8 per person, plus group organiser and driver benefits. The Museum also has a gift shop, licensed cafe and a Land Rover 4x4 off-road Experience.

Open daily, 10am-5pm (Closed: 24 Dec – 1 Jan inclusive) and also offers a change from the normal comfort stop and invites operators to use its toilet facilities and café, with the added option of a 15 minute taster tour of the Museum, pre-booking essential.
