Christmas arrives at Warwick Castle on Saturday 25th November, and we can’t wait! Explore twinkling trees, dazzling decorations, and festive flourishes at every turn. Visit Santa and Mrs Claus for stories in the castle, take a spin on the open-air ice rink in the imposing shadow of the Castle itself, and as darkness falls, experience the beauty of the illuminated light trail that leads you through the Castle grounds.

Enjoy an Audience with Santa at Kenilworth Castle

Join Father Christmas at Kenilworth Castle during December as he takes some time out of his busy schedule to tell his favourite tales around the Christmas tree. Slots to visit Santa are available on Saturdays and Sundays between 2nd-23rd December from 10.30am and 3.20pm. Tickets for the sessions with Santa are £9.50 per child, plus a general admission ticket for the Castle.

The Polar Express with Vintage Trains

All aboard! THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride with Vintage Trains will be departing from Birmingham’s Moor Street Station between 24th November and 23rd December. Experience the magic of the beloved 2004 motion picture being theatrically re-created as you and your family are immersed in the sights, sounds and intrigue of this classic children’s tale.

THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Rides depart from Birmingham Moor Street Station. This station is serviced by West Midlands Railway and Chiltern Railways. Direct trains are available from Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick. Please view timetables to check before you travel.

Historic St Mary’s Guildhall in the centre of Coventry has Christmas all wrapped up with yuletide stories and seasonal activities for all the family within its beautifully decorated, historic rooms.

Follow a fun festive trail around the Guildhall or book a visit to see Santa Claus. Storytelling with Santa sessions include a story with Santa in the Great Hall, gingerbread decorating in the medieval kitchen, and the chance to enjoy a range of children’s crafts as you explore the Guildhall.

St Mary’s Church Christmas Tree Festival

Discover a host of beautifully decorated trees at St Mary’s Church in Warwick as their popular Christmas Tree festival returns. All trees are donated by local groups and businesses from Warwick and displayed throughout the church. The festival opens for a special preview on Wednesday 23rd November alongside Warwick’s Victorian Evening and will then open every day until Sunday 3rd December.
