It’s hard to believe it’s only a month till Christmas!

Whether you’re organising your work’s Christmas do, want somewhere special to eat out or fancy letting someone else cook the turkey this year, Shakespeare’s England has it covered.

Throughout December numerous venues in the region are hosting magical dining experiences and glittering party nights to be enjoyed with friends, family or colleagues. Here are a few highlights to whet your appetite:

Party time

For a great party night, look no further than Warwick Castle’s Great Hall Dinner & Disco. After enjoying a drinks reception and festive three-course dinner, you and your fellow guests can dance the night away in the grand surroundings.

The Welcombe Hotel just outside Stratford-upon-Avon is hosting a themed Masquerade & Mistletoe Ball on 16th December, complete with a table magician and a live band.

Dine out

Every Monday and Tuesday evening throughout December you can enjoy a magical dining experience with a festive twist when The Fleece Inn ditches electric lighting to celebrate Christmas by Candlelight.

Mallory Court Hotel is offering gourmet dining throughout December, giving you the chance to sample award-winning seasonal dining in its beautiful panelled restaurant.

Or, for something completely different, put on your deerstalker for a festive, interactive Sherlock Holmes murder mystery evening at Ettington Park Hotel, near Stratford.

Christmas Day/Boxing Day

Why not give yourself a treat this year by booking your Christmas Day or Boxing Day lunch at a local hotel or restaurant? Not only will it save you all the shopping, cooking and clearing up, but it also means you can relax and savour the occasion.

Tuck into a fabulous four- or five-course Christmas Day lunch at The Globe, Arden Hotel, the Kings Hotel, the Ardencote or The Bell, amongst others. Or you can enjoy Christmas Day Lunch or Boxing Day Lunch at The Crowne Plaza overlooking the picturesque river Avon.
