The Collegiate Church of St Mary in Warwick is the beautiful setting for the annual Christmas Tree Festival, which opens on Warwick Town Victorian evening, Thursday 30 November and continues until Sunday 10 December 2017. Visitors can vote for their favourite Christmas tree and be entered in the prize draw. Admission on Victorian Evening is 50 p per adult. Children are Free. There will be Entertainment to include a variety of music, including the ever popular Hand Bell ringing demonstration, mulled wine & mince pies. Craft stalls and the St Mary’s gift shop will help with those Christmas presents. The evening will be rounded off with a short carol service at 8.45 pm.
Local school choirs sing Christmas songs on Friday morning 1st December in a free concert, when doors open at 10 am, come along and hear the children sing and visitors can enjoy coffee and cake, from the Pop Up Café. At 12.30 there will be the opportunity to join a Guided Tour of St Mary’s, including the Beautiful Beauchamp Chapel for £3.00, (including a vote for your favourite tree) numbers are limited for the tour and places must be booked in advance by emailing email@example.com or phone the office on 01926 403940.
The Pop Up Café will be serving tea, coffee and homemade cakes on Friday and Saturday of both weekends from 10 am – 4 pm. On Saturday 2 December there is a Christmas Charity Concert in aid of Rufus’ Friends’ Fund Sung by the Gentlemen of Her Majesty’s Chapel Royal, Hampton Court Palace, 6pm Drinks Reception Concert at 7pm, Tickets £15 (includes drinks reception) Available from 01926 257965 or Eventbrite.
Santa will be visiting the Christmas Tree Festival at 11am on Saturday 9 December – he has heard that it is going to be especially beautiful this year. Why not come along and join him as he looks at the beautiful trees and stops off at the pop-up café for a lovely slice of cake, before continuing his long journey towards Christmas? . ‘Da Capo’ an a cappella chamber choir will be singing at 11 am and 1.00pm filling the church with their beautiful sound. St Mary’s invites you to have tea and cake with the Mayor of Warwick, Stephen Cross, at 11am on Saturday 9th December, as he pays a visit to the annual Christmas Tree Festival. At 2 pm the Guild of Bell Ringer’s Carol Service takes place, with refreshments. Free entry to all, donations welcome.

All the trees are individually decorated by the community and local businesses and this will be an opportunity to celebrate the spirit of Christmas and be inspired by local people and organisations. After Victorian evening during the week and a half long festival, vote for your favourite tree for just £1 and includes entry into the prize draw for some super prizes.
