Be Inspired, Shakespeare and Me

Shakespeare's Birthplace, Stratford-upon-Avon

This exhibition by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust tells the story of leading 18th century actor David Garrick’s Shakespeare Jubilee, which was held in Stratford-upon-Avon in 1769 — this year marks the 250 anniversary of what was the first celebration of Shakespeare anywhere in the world. Wheel Making & Tools with a Mission

Robin Hill is an experienced wheelwright and friend of the Yard. He will be showing and talking about the wood he uses for wheel making, the skills required and tricks used to assemble the wheel from a seemingly hopeless pile of odd wooden shapes. Spinning and wool craft with “Ewe to You”
