Looking for ways to entertain the children over the Easter holidays? You’ll find plenty to pick from here in Shakespeare’s England. In addition to a bonanza of Easter fun taking place in Stratford-upon-Avon, the rest of the region has lots going on too.

You can enjoy a fun packed day out at Warwick Castle with the launch of a brand new Horrible Histories Maze, along with the return of the Wicked Warwick live stage show, jaw-dropping fireballs, spectacular birds of prey and the talented resident bowman.

If you fancy going on an Easter Adventure Quest, head over to Kenilworth Castle for some hands-on history. Can you win your chocolate reward by cracking the clues hidden around the magnificent ruins? If you get stuck, help is on hand from a time-travelling storyteller.

Hill Close Gardens in Warwick is offering crafty fun at an Easter Children’s workshop or the chance to celebrate aVictorian Easter. There’s also Easter Weekend fun taking place at Leamington Art Gallery & Museum, including a Matilda-themed egg hunt trail, face painting and craft activities.

Several of the National Trust properties in the region are hosting Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts, along with fun and games in their beautiful grounds. Meanwhile, a great family day out is assured at both Ragley Hall and Compton Verney, which are re-opening their doors at Easter for the 2016 season.

And whatever the weather, you’ll find a whole host of Easter activities at the new-look British Motor Museum at Gaydon. Various shows, workshops and trails are running throughout the school holidays, so you’re sure to find one that appeals.

With so much going on across Shakespeare’s England this Easter, the whole family really is in for a treat! The hardest part will be deciding which ones to choose…
