This Victoria terrace Cottage has retained many or its original features including wooden panel doors and sash windows but is light and offers comfortable modern living. It is beautifully decorated in neutral tones with a good mix of old and new and has your own private Courtyard garden perfect for summer evenings or having a BBQ after a busy day of sightseeing. The house comprises two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the second with two single beds (both have Orthopaedic memory foam mattresses which are brand new.

The Luxury Hotel style bathroom has a freestanding bath, large separate shower with both ceiling and wall attachment, toilet, heated towel as well as a huge wall sized mirror with shelf for all your toiletries. The lounge is large and has a three seater sofa and two chairs (both have Orthopaedic memory foam mattresses which are brand new) this leads to the dining room and then onto a modern Kitchen and utility room each fitted with new appliances and outside there is a Courtyard garden which is perfect for alfresco dining in the Summer if you so wish (a charcoal BBQ is also there for your use) Our house is equipped with Coffee, tea, sugar and milk as well as Shampoo, soap and fresh towels. We have a travel cot and high chair available if requested prior to stay. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge, Microwave, Kettle, Dolce Gusto coffee maker with pods, iron, ironing board, single oven and ceramic four ring hob with over head extractor which are all new. We can also provide a highchair, travel cot, travel stair gate and child’s bed guard of booked in advance.

There is a cooler box for guest to use for Picnics on the River and picnic blanket. There is also an umbrella hanging on the coat rack in the lounge for guests use. In addition the house has a Champagne bucket for those wishing to celebrate that special occasion and need something to put it in.

The railway station for those coming by train is a 4 minute walk away so a car is not necessary when staying. We offer guests use of an on street parking permit for use during your stay which must be returned prior to departure or £100 will be deducted from the security deposit held. There is also a convenient car park located further down Arden Street if preferred for those wishing to bring an extra car which is pay and display.

Visitor Info

We are located just 10 minutes from Junction 15 of the M40 in the centre of the town. Parking is available on Mansell street with use of our Guest permit.

Access is via lock box located to the right of the front door. Check in is from 3pm daily and checkout is at 10 pm.

Conferences & meetings



The heating is operated by a Hive Thermostat. The shower has an abundance of hot water so cold shower is never a problem.

We do not accept dogs.

Food & Drink

The house is perfectly located with an abundance of cafes, restaurants, shops nearby. The Royal Shakespeare Theatre and Shakespearean places of interest just minutes walk away. You will not be short of things to do and the River Avon is perfect for an evening stroll or taking in the sights by water.


Seasonal prices range from £85-£140 per night depending on the season and there is a minimum of 3 nights reservation.

A cleaning rate of £40 is charged per reservation.
