Chedham’s Yard is a 19th Century Heritage Site which has been fully restored, incorporating both wheelwright’s and blacksmith’s workshops. All the tools etc have been placed back into their original positions. The forge is operated every Saturday and Wood Turning on some days. The Chedham family operated the Yard supporting the local farming community for 150 years. There are guided tours and a variety of events to suit all ages and interests throughout April to September.
The visitor centre serves light refreshments.
The Yard is located at the end of a gravel pathway leading off Church Walk in the centre of Wellesbourne close to the Stags Head. Church Walk leads off Chestnut Square.

The yard is open on Saturdays from the end of April until the end of September with two extra events for Halloween and Christmas.
Saturday opening is from 10am to 2pm except for the special event days – Open Studios, Heritage Open Day, Halloween and Christmas. Free entry on Saturdays.
Access is via a loose gravel drive and the surface inside the yard is uneven but mainly level.
Wheelchair & mobility scooter access is possible but care must be taken. Onsite assistance at the request of visitors.
