Coventry Transport Museum houses the world’s largest publicly owned collection of British vehicles, and tells the fascinating story of Coventry and its people through the rise and fall of its biggest industry. After a £9.5m redevelopment programme, this huge museum offers a whole day out of fun and discovery for visitors of all ages – all in an iconic city-centre building.

How to find
Coventry is close to the M1/M6/M40/M42. Follow signs to city centre and take junction 1 or 2. As a city centre attraction there is no parking available at the Museum itself however, city centre pay and display car parks
Normal opening hours Monday – Sunday (including bank holidays) are: 10.00am – 5.00pm (last admission 4.30pm) Open every day of the year except 24 – 26 December and 1 January.

Conferences & meetings
Lockers, wheelchair hire and buggy parking can be found on the right before Reception. Please ask at Reception if you need any assistance.
Baby changing and breastfeeding facilities are available in the Parent and Baby room on the first floor next to the Transport Technology exhibition. Hot water for baby bottles is available from the café on request.
Food & Drink
Esquires Coffee House is situated in the entrance to the Museum, serving a delicious range of Fairtrade coffee, tea, milkshakes, soft drinks & hot chocolate, as well as a fabulous selection of hot and cold sandwiches, soups and some of the best cakes in Coventry!
Sit back and relax at the beginning, middle or end of your visit to the Museum and enjoy the warm and comfortable surroundings of this Godiva Award Winning coffee shop.
Families are more than welcome – we have a number of high chairs and will gladly warm bottles.
