Set within a magnificent 600-acres in the heart of Shakespeare country, Dallas Burston Polo Club provides the perfect canvas on which to create a landscape positioned to become the most sought-after leisure facility not just in Warwickshire, but throughout the Midlands. We have continued to develop and enhance the site with the objective of turning DBPC into a destination venue.
Our venue is unique and our facilities exceptional, combining the 3,000-capacity IXL Events Centre, the 2.4-acre all-weather SuperArena®, six polo grounds, the Colonial Clubhouse, the Cloud Pavilion and The Millstone Hare restaurant. All these stunning venues sit within 600-acres of beautiful Warwickshire countryside which includes a 200-acre wood, and a Site of Special Scientific Interest, a remnant of the Forest of Arden dating back to Shakespeare’s day. DBPC is extremely popular for large-scale weddings due to our setting and scale.
The IXL Events Centre was named the ‘Best Purpose-Built Wedding Venue 2016’ and our multi award-winning caterers, Sanjay Foods, consistently provide an outstanding service at many of our popular events. Our beautiful countryside pub, The Millstone Hare, has a true community spirit and draws in a regular crowd of locals, as well as visitors from all over the county. The pub, with its terraces and balconies, overlooks both the arena and polo pitches allowing visitors to watch ‘chukkas’ for free, making meals at The Millstone Hare even more memorable!
Annual fixtures include the ever-popular Ladies’ Day and DBPC’s Polo in the Park, as well as the prestigious Victor Ludorum polo competition. We aim to bring the pleasures of the high-octane sport to everyone, with free entry to certain events to encourage a wider audience. Our Polo Manager, Huw Beavan, offers polo lessons to beginners as well as more experienced players.
A series of family-friendly events are also held throughout the year, including our widely renowned Bonfire and Fireworks Night, attracting thousands of visitors, doubling year on year. Free shuttle buses were laid on courtesy of a local coach firm, Catterall’s, to ferry people to and from Southam to help locals make the most of an incredible event.
The construction of our first boutique hotel is underway and will greatly enhance our offering as it will be the first accommodation to open on site. We will be able to offer overnight accommodation to the many of the overseas visitors we attract for polo tournament weekends, wedding parties and conference groups. We will also have the ability to hold one/two/three-day conferences and tourists visiting the region will be able to use the site as a base for exploring Shakespeare’s Warwickshire.
Having already invested £105 million on the site and with plans for future development to include a second hotel and luxury garden rooms, we have plans for an additional investment of approximately £122 million.
Great service underpins everything we do – it is part of our ethos. We want people to come and enjoy our facilities, have a great day out or a superb business event or a fantastic wedding, and come back again. We are putting DBPC on the map, making it the destination venue Warwickshire deserves.
We provide free on-site parking for all internal events, conferences, weddings, equestrian visitors and guests of The Millstone Hare.
We also provide guests of The Millstone Hare with a free shuttle service to and from the Club – guests must be within a 5-mile radius to qualify for the shuttle.

Our Events: With many of our events, we promote an early bird offer which can give visitors 10% or 20% off.
All 4 venues are wheelchair friendly and allow for full accessibility to the majority of each venue. Stairlifts and elevators enable access to each floor in both the IXL Events Centre and The Millstone Hare.
Guide dogs are permitted across site and inside the venues.
All venues have been fitted with fully equipped disabled toilet facilities.
Conferences & meetings
Our conference and events business has continued to go from strength to strength, attracting bookings from both UK and multinational companies including Coca-Cola, major automotive manufacturers such as Fiat and JLR, as well as UBT, British Dressage UK and hosting the launch of the brand new RK Vodka.
We continue to develop our relationships with businesses. In 2017, we introduced team-building days for companies, allowing them to take advantage of our 600-acre setting to offer shooting, archery, assault courses and even a monster multi-lane Scalextric course.
Our stunning and extensive grounds, range of purpose-built venues and our devoted events team makes us a one-stop business, perfect for any event planner.
The IXL Events Centre, currently our largest indoor venue, is an extremely popular venue for Asian Weddings and is booked back-to-back on weekends in the summer season. Working closely with our multi award-winning Asian wedding caterers and events management team, we proudly provide an outstanding service, as with all of our events!
Our Cloud Pavilion is also a popular wedding venue, perfect for hosting elegant weddings, flushed with natural lighting and draped in class. In addition to the stunning grounds, top quality facilities and outstanding service, our venue offers wedding couples the very unique opportunity – having a polo match/tournament at their wedding.
We have witnessed beautiful ceremonies, hosted epic wedding parties and delivered happiness to wedding couples from all over the country! We hope to welcome even more happy couples to our venue in 2018.

Food & Drink
The Millstone Hare, our brand-new countryside styled pub, offers a delicious menu full of high quality, homemade foods at a competitive, affordable price.
Above the restaurant, with balconies either side and views over the Club, is the Drawing Room, The Millstone Hare’s spacious function room. This space is complete with a bar, LED lighting around the ceilings and a fully integrated NEXO and Bose sound system.
With the excellent food offerings, a considered mix of local ales, popular lagers, a range of wines and the free shuttle service, The Millstone Hare is standing against the increase in pub closures and continues to grow more popular by the day.
