Located on the High Street, Hathaway Tea Rooms is a Grade II listed building, which was constructed around 1610 and is known as one of Stratford’s most historic properties.

Good service is at the heart of Hathaway Tea Rooms and it is one of the best places to enjoy afternoon tea in Shakespeare’s hometown.

Wheel chair access is available for the ground floor tea room via a side passage to the building

Food & Drink

Breakfast is available until 11:30am, and ranges from breakfast sandwiches and muffins to classic Eggs Benedict and smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. And of course, there is the Hathaway’s full English breakfast.

Lunch is freshly prepared in-house and includes sandwiches, jacket potatoes, homemade soup and Ploughman’s lunches.

The main event at Hathaway Tea Rooms are the traditional Afternoon and Cream Teas.
