Magic Alley: The Lost Years of William Shakespeare

Stratford’s newest and most whimsical “old” attraction has thrown open its doors after moving home to the newly re-imagined Bell Court right in the heart of town. Magic Alley is a totally unique, immersive, informative and educational experience spread over 4,500 square feet that is suitable for children of all ages and abilities.

Based upon the series of spellbinding storybooks, The Chronicles of Wizard’s Thatch, visitors are transported into the world of The Lost Years of William Shakespeare; a world of magic and mystery; of wonder and excitement; of wizards and pirates; of fairies and dragons; of time-travelling and curious characters.

Whilst having fun, Magic Alley encourages visitors to explore and develop their skills in English, Mathematics, Drama, Observation, Creative Thinking and Creative Writing. The experience invites visitors to dream again; to suspend disbelief for a while and embark on a magical adventure that brings a brief respite from the pressures of everyday life.
