Ragley Hall, at the heart of the Ragley Estate, is the ancestral family home of the 9th Marquess of Herford. This magnificent Palladian property dates back to 1680 and is open on select dates throughout the year for guided tours of the impressive state rooms, which can also be hired exclusively for wedding ceremonies and corporate events.
Located just outside the ancient market town of Alcester, Ragley has been open to the public since 1958 when it one of the very first stately homes in the country to do so. Memorable, versatile and set in the rolling Warwickshire countryside, Ragley Hall is also the perfect day out for all the family.
Children of all ages will be entertained for hours with the Adventure Wood and 3D maze, boating on Ragley Lake and a Woodland Walk; it’s easy to see why Ragley is one of Warwickshire’s most popular family days out.
If gardens are your passion then you just have to explore Ragley Gardens. The 10 hectares of Capability Brown gardens surrounding Ragley Hall are diverse and display a spectacular array of snowdrops in the winter, tulips and daffodils in the spring and a Rose Garden and Prairie Garden throughout the summer months.
Ragley is located 2 miles South West of Alcester just off the A435/A46. 8 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon.

Despite its grandeur, Ragley Hall is a versatile event space. The ground floor features flagstone floors and vaulted ceilings and leads out onto a terrace that overlooks the awe-inspiring Rose Garden and ‘Avenue’.
The first floor state rooms are nothing short of spectacular.
The Great Hall, 70ft in length and with a 40ft high decorative ceiling plays host to conferences by day and magnificent gala dinners by night.
The Red Saloon, with its exquisite crystal chandelier and log fire is perfect for board meetings and fine dining.
The State Dining Room at Ragley has played host to the families most special occasions, including the 9thMarquess’s 21st birthday celebration in 1975. Today, you and your guests can dine like a Lords and Ladies and marvel in the decadence and luxury of this spectacular dining room.

Today the ground floor and first floor of this beautiful Palladian Mansion can be hired exclusively for your special day.

For larger celebrations the Rose Garden Terrace can accommodate marquees for up to 600 guests with breathtaking views of Ragley Hall and the garden avenue.
