Studley Castle, Warner Leisure Hotels

Studley Castle offers the perfect setting for short midweek and weekend breaks exploring and relaxing in the heart of England. It’s a short drive from Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare, and historic Henley-in-Arden. Bespoke trips to the picturesque limestone villages of the Cotswolds are also available. For countryside rambles, the Arden Way is a circular 26-mile walk that cuts through the grounds.

The hotel has 200 rooms, all with historic or contemporary features and designed for relaxing in comfort. The rooms in the original Victorian castle are quirky and individual, with heritage colours and statement furnishings. Accommodation in the newly built Studley wing is fresh and modern, while Stables and Lodge rooms provide an oasis of calm and tranquility.

Two brand-new restaurants and a variety of bars offer contemporary and classic dishes and drinks. Guests are invited to enjoy yoga and pilates classes, archery, laser clay and shooting in the grounds, and there are bikes to hire. The Stables Spa is the hotel’s sanctuary. Converted from the estate’s original riding stables, it’s home to a pool, sauna, steam room and loungers. Specialist facial and body treatments are provided by the luxurious Temple Spa brand.

Evenings at Studley Castle cater for many tastes, offering everything from quiet drinks with friends to movies and sensational live acts and dancing. The Evesham Restaurant is a state-of-the-art live music venue. After dinner, it hosts famous names and new talent with bands, comedians, contemporary circus performers and tribute acts taking to the stage. For something a little more laidback, there’s late-night comedy in the bar and acoustic sets in the second restaurant.

Three lounges provide relaxed spots and the Picture Lounge is the hotel’s very own boutique cinema showcasing big-screen features.

Studley Castle is Warner Leisure Hotels’ 14th hotel and the newest member of the family. It opens its doors in March 2019. Selected breaks are now available to book on a Bed & Breakfast or Dinner, Bed & Breakfast basis.

Food & Drink

Breaks are available on a Bed & Breakfast or Dinner, Bed & Breakfast basis, booked in advance.

There are two restaurants at Studley Castle that offer two different experiences. The Evesham restaurant is at the centre of the hotel and hosts breakfast and dinner every day. Wake up to a full English, or lighter continental options, served with juices and freshly brewed tea and coffee.

By evening, enjoy a nightly festival of food where expert chefs showcase their skills before your eyes. Theatre cooking takes the heat out of the kitchen and puts it centre stage. Or choose our famous hand-carved joints from the butcher’s block, varied daily specials, or lighter salad options. For pudding, enjoy a selection of beautiful desserts and cheeses. Then stay in your seats for entertainment.

By day, The Arden Café Bar & Restaurant is a coffee lounge with deep sofas and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the rolling countryside. By night, the menu offers gastro-style British classics with a twist in a more laid-back atmosphere and is open a little later than the Evesham Restaurant.

Afternoon tea is also be available from the Oak Room, one of the castle’s three lounges.
