A hidden gem in the very heart of Stratford – The Old Slaughterhouse Arts and Heritage Studio is a place to visit, learn and explore. With seasonal exhibitions, events and a full workshop and activity programme.

The Grade ll listed slaughterhouse is steeped in local heritage – records dating back to the early 17th century reveal it as a site for rope-making, wine merchants and then butchers.

The Old Slaughterhouse can be accessed of Sheep Street between Clinkard’s Shoe Shop and Weatherspoons or Bridge St via Red Lion Court. Unless privately booked there is no public parking but there is a mobility car park adjacent to the building.

Able to accommodate a range of needs from intimate client focused one to one meetings in the café, through to sole use of this unique heritage building and its associated service yards.

A bespoke service – can arrange the best local produce, provide marquees, media bus, break out spaces and sun garden – full Wi-Fi and office equipment available.
