Polesworth
Polesworth in North Warwickshire has been welcoming people since the 9th century. The site of a Saxon Abbey on the turn of the River Anker, that inspired both the poets of The Polesworth Circle, including John Donne, Michael Drayton and maybe even Shakespeare, and the building of the Coventry Canal and all its industrial heritage. Polesworth’s landscape still retains this history along with the opportunity for a riverside rural escape into nature.
Today, Polesworth is a thriving, friendly village with independent shops, local products, plenty going on and of course free parking!
