In light of the Governments guidelines issued last night regarding Covid-19, the Stratford Literary Festival has no choice but to cancel the Spring Festival (due to take place from 9 – 17 May). The Festival organisers are devastated as ticket sales were stronger than ever this year and they were very excited about delivering the programme to their audiences, but the safety of the team, speakers and audience is paramount.
If you have bought tickets online then the cost will be refunded direct to your payment card as soon as possible. This may take a few days. If you bought tickets from the Box Office at the Play House, then you will need to get a refund from there. It is open 11am-3pm Tuesday to Saturday.
The organisers are doing their best to re-schedule some of the authors programmed for the festival to appear at The WINTER WEEKEND which is scheduled for 20 – 22 November.
In the meantime, keep well and the organisers will do their best to entertain people remotely with recommended reads and hopefully the odd podcast!
