Tourism leaders in Kenilworth have come together to connect with the region’s Destination Management Organisation.
Members of Shakespeare’s England and a host of new faces joined the team at The Cross in Kenilworth as part of the DMO’s networking events.
Attendees were invited to the venue at the last tourism business breakfast event of the year, where they were encouraged to network and connect with the Shakespeare England team, to drive more opportunities for working with each other.
The event was hosted by the Michelin-starred restaurant, The Cross, who provided delicious pastries and biscuits for attendees and provided one lucky winner with the chance to return for a free meal.
Helen Peters, CEO of Shakespeare’s England, said: “We were delighted to welcome some of our existing members and some new faces from Kenilworth to our Meet the DMO event.
“These events are a really valuable opportunity for us to connect with local businesses so that we can continue to promote the local region, and ensure that everyone is involved.
“The Cross is a stunning venue and is incredibly popular with locals and visitors to the area alike, so it was a wonderful opportunity to work with them and showcase what they do.
“We will be hosting more Meet the Team events in 2020 across Warwickshire, so we look forward to seeing current members and some new faces then!”
