Easter adventure trails, plenty of egg hunts and chocolate-themed activities for all the family are on offer across Warwickshire during the holidays.

Members of Shakespeare’s England are offering a whole host of ‘egg-citing’ Easter-themed events to keep children and parents entertained during the break.

Young adventurers are being encouraged to crack the family Easter Adventure Quest at Kenilworth Castle and track down the allusive dragon egg within the castle’s walls with a special certificate and chocolate to celebrate your find.

Parents looking for activities to un-wind can enjoy the Purity Brewery and Cotswolds Pub Tours on Saturday, April 6 which includes tasting and if you’re looking for family-friendly tours for Easter, the Cotswolds Tours will also run on Good Friday and Easter Sunday with plenty of stories of local legends and folklore from the driver.

Warwick is hopping with activities including the Eggstravaganza Craft Activity at the Warwick Fusiliers Museum, the brand-new Doggy Day Out Trail to walk your pooch through the top dog-friendly places in the town and at the Market Hall Museum, the Arty Tots at Easter season on April 16 is perfect to occupy under-5s this Easter.

There’s also plenty of activities planned at Shakespeare’s School room and Guildhall with their Easter Family Quiz and Bunny Trail through the historic buildings in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Stratford will also be buzzing during the Birthday Celebrations for Shakespeare on Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28 with the Traditional Celebration Parade, Quill Ceremony, National Living Statue Championships and many more free activities and workshops taking place across the weekend.
