With so many wonderful shops and markets to choose from in Shakespeare’s England, this year’s Christmas shopping is sorted

Start browsing for Christmas gifts with some festive open air shopping. The annual Leamington Spa Yuletide Market is held every Sunday from 20th November until the Sunday before Christmas. Running the entire length of The Parade, it boasts a huge variety of antiques, unusual Christmas gifts and crafts, local produce and delicious street food.

The traditional Christmas Market returns to Bridge Street in Stratford-upon-Avon on the last five Thursdays leading up to Christmas. Here you can expect to find high quality goods of an unusual nature including arts and crafts, vintage goods, fine festive foods, seasonal products and, of course, Christmas presents for all ages.

You might prefer to do some late night Christmas shopping over at Resorts World Birmingham. As well as an impressive selection of retail shopping outlets offering up to 70% off and fabulous dining options, you’ll now find Hamleys – the iconic toy store’s only outlet in the Midlands.

Meanwhile, you’re assured a magical shopping experience at Bicester village this Christmas with over 130 boutiques offering leading fashion, jewellery and lifestyle brands. In addition, you can even discover all things woolly with a special pop-up boutique.

Last but by no means least, The Gallery at the Guild – located in the picturesque Cotswold town of Chipping Campden – has launched its fantastic Christmas exhibition. It features a range of work from local artists and crafts folk across a broad range of mediums, so you’re sure to find some unusual gifts for those who are difficult to buy for!

And if you’re still stuck for ideas, don’t despair; there are plenty of other fantastic shopping opportunities in Shakespeare’s England.
